In December 2024, the Institute of Social Sciences will organise meetings in Sarajevo, Podgorica, Skopje and Banja Luka with representatives of academic institutions, public institutions, international organisations and civil society. The aim of these meetings is to strengthen social inclusion policies in the Western Balkans.
The meetings are organised in the framework of the Western Balkan Social Inclusion Barometer (WBSIB) project, which is part of the SAIGE project implemented by the World Bank, the European Commission and the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation
These activities are also supported by the co-operation within the Academic Network for Collaboration in Southeast Europe (AMSJIE).
The main objectives of these meetings are to present the methodology developed by the Institute of Social Sciences for collection of valid and reliable data on the implementation of inclusive policy measures and to explore opportunities for regional co-operation and development in enhancing social inclusion policies.
The meetings will take place on the following dates:
- Sarajevo: 12–14 December 2024
- Podgorica: 16–18 December 2024
- Skopje: 22–24 December 2024
- Banja Luka: 16–17 December 2024
