Previous research and analysis of foreign and domestic literature, especially statistics on the number of arrivals, overnight stays, realized income and volume of capital that is traded on the world tourism market, point to the need for more serious and comprehensive multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research and defining the role and importance of tourism in wider economic and social development processes.
Accordingly, the lecture will be devoted to the relationship between tourism and the economy, that is, the breadth of the economy in relation to tourism, as well as their mutual connection.
Precisely because of the importance of the relationship and interdependence of tourism and the economy, this lecture seeks to encourage new multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research into the development of the theoretical basis of tourism as a special scientific discipline of “Tourismology”, then, the basis for the development of critical approaches to the study of the connection of other activities with tourism, the spread of new approaches, concepts, networks and models that can be developed and applied in the study of tourism, and the promotion of new research.
The aim of this lectures is promoting new researchers and familiarization with their previous work.
