Researchers of the Institute of Social Sciences in Belgrade, Center for Legal Research, in cooperation with the Bar Association of Vojvodina, are organizing the sixth traditional Roundtable on issues of liability in Serbian Law, entitled – “Serbia and reforming the institute of liability 6”.
The aim of the Roundtable is, as in previous years, to open a broad discussion on issues of liability in Serbian law, with reference to comparative and international legal standards.
The focus is on the application of regulations, both material and procedural, with the intention of pointing out the achievements and shortcomings of various legal practices (state bodies, public services, health and other professions).
Special attention is paid to the improvement of standards of liability, monitoring of contemporary trends on key issues, as well as harmonization with European Union documents regarding basic legal institutes and protection mechanisms.
The book of abstracts will be printed and delivered at the time of the meeting, and the full papers, at the author’s request, after a positive review, published in the Journal of the Vojvodina Bar Association.
The Roundtable is open to discussion participants and guests.
