Jovana Zafirović is Research Assistant at the Institute of Social Sciences where she has been working since 2019. She holds a BA degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. She participated in several research projects at the Institute of Sociological Research during her studies. She also holds an MSc degree in Comparative Social Research from the Higher School of Economics, National Research University in Moscow, where she graduated with honors (2019). She worked as a research intern at Tilburg University in the Netherlands (2018-2019). She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. She has participated in a number of scientific conferences and workshops. Her research interests focus on Survey Methodology and Economic and Political Sociology. Her scientific research activity involved coordinating and participating in the realization of many research projects. She is a core team member of the European Social Survey and Comparative Study of Electoral Systems. Jovana is a proficient user of several statistical packages (R, STATA, SPSS) and is experienced in conducting different types of statistical analysis (such as SEM, Multilevel modeling, Bayesian statistics, Social Network Analysis, etc.).
