Gender and Politics Research Network in South-East Europe (GenPolSEE) is a network that primarily foster research on gender and political representation from a feminist perspective in the Balkans and Southeast Europe.
The founding meeting of the GenPolSEE will be held on November 2 and 3, 2022, co-hosted by the Institute of Social Sciences and Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory in Belgrade, supported by Heinrich Bὄll Stiftung.

The network is dedicated to the exchange of knowledge and research experience, the promotion of feminist methodology and connecting with international expertise, networks and platforms that support theoretical and empirical research of an innovative and transformative issues.
The thematic research focus of the GenPolSEE network involves the following issues: gender and representation (critical actors, social movements, intersectionality), gender and institutions (parliaments, political parties, executive, institutional mechanisms for gender equality) and gender and public policy (inclusive policy making, accountability, gender mainstreaming).
