„Covid-19 in Central and Eastern Europe – Five Years Later: Lessons Learned and Pandemic Preparedness“

The Institute of Social Sciences in Belgrade, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, is pleased to invite legal researchers and practitioners, and public health experts to an international conference on the long-term impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and strategies for future emergency preparedness.

Venue: Lublin Conference Centre, Poland

Date: 2–3 October 2025

Conference language: English

Hybrid format: on-site and online participation available

The conference will explore how different societies in Central and Eastern Europe responded to the pandemic and how national strategies align with the recently adopted WHO Pandemic Treaty.

Abstract submission deadline: 30 July 2025

Please indicate whether you plan to participate in person or online.

Notification of acceptance: by 15 August 2025

There is no conference fee, but participants are expected to cover their travel and accommodation expenses.
