Within the framework of the Internal Research Grant Program “Seed,” supported by the SAIGE project (Serbia Accelerating Innovation and Growth Entrepreneurship), the Institute of Social Sciences is organizing a workshop within the project “Is gender equality an obstacle for decisions on family formation?”, which will be held on September 24, 2024, starting at 2 p.m. in the large hall of the Institute of Social Sciences.
The project was inspired by the idea of exploring the transformation process of gender roles in heterosexual partnerships and youth partnerships in Serbia. The aim is to approach family life and gender roles closer to youth, family and gender equality policies.
In the first part of the workshop, the project and the results of qualitative research will be presented. The second part will take place through discussion and exchange of ideas on the topics raised with representatives of the civil sector, public policies, and academic and scientific research community.
