The Institute for Social Sciences continues organizing regional meetings within the Western Balkan Social Inclusion Barometer (WBSIB) project framework, following the successful discussions held in Sarajevo, Podgorica, Skopje, and Banja Luka. The next meeting will be held in Tirana on April 16th and 17th, 2025, to involve all Western Balkan countries and regions in joint efforts to improve social inclusion policies through advocacy activities at the national and regional levels.
The meeting will bring together representatives from academic institutions, public administration, international organizations, and civil society. Its goal is to exchange experiences, present the developed methodology for monitoring inclusive policy measures, and define further steps to strengthen regional cooperation in this area.
This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the Western Balkan Social Inclusion Barometer project, which is part of the larger Serbia Accelerating Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project (SAIGE), carried out by the World Bank, the European Commission, and the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation.
The event is being organized in collaboration with the Academic Network for Cooperation in Southeastern Europe (AMSJIE) and the SCIDEV organization from Tirana.
