The 16th edition of the “European Union and Legal Reform” summer school took place from 7 through 13 July 2019 in Igalo, Montenegro. The summer school was organised by the Center for Constitutional Studies and Democratic Development (CCSDD) in cooperation with the Institute of Social Sciences.
The school brought together international cohort of students and faculty from 15 countries. The summer school faculty includes prof. Christian Joerges (Hertie School of Governance), prof. Bill Bowring and prof. Michelle Everson (University of London, Birkbeck College), prof. Giacinto della Cananea and prof. Justin Frosini (Bocconi University), prof Ellen Vos (University of Maastricht), and Dr Anna Isaeva (University of Florence). They were joined by two esteemed practitioners – Ms Margarita Meldon (International Development Law Organisation) and Mr Michael Bosco (Dentons Europe). The summer school faculty also comprises two scholars from the Institute of Social Sciences – Dr Ognjen Pribićević, principal research fellow and former ambassador of Serbia to United Kingdom and Germany, and Dr Marko Milenković, research fellow who is also an academic coordinator of the summer school.
The project is result of the cooperation between CCSDD and the Instituted based on the Memorandum of cooperation concluded in 2017. CCSDD is a research partnership between Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies Bologna Center and University of Bologna, Faculty of Law.
