Within the program of transformation of the Institute of Social Sciences, employees of the Institute attended a series off trainings and educations aimed at strengthening of the research infrastructure and managerial and administrative capacities.
Together with their 28 colleagues from 15 Serbian science and research institutes, Dr Milica Joković Pantelić and Ivana Stjelja participated in a training program for writing and management of Horizon Europe projects, implemented by the experts from the European Training Academy (EUTA), engaged by the SAIGE Team. The transformation process of the ISS has been implemented within the SAIGE project of the World Bank and Ministry of Science.
The training involved topics that addressed involvement in “Horizon Europe” projects (preparation for participation, identification of partners and coordinators), writing project proposals (application procedure, description of consortium members, ethical and intellectual property issues), preparation of project budget (financial regulations and legislation) and implementation of projects (signing project agreement, identification of main challenges).
After each session, discussions and workshops were organised as a concrete way of preparation for writing project proposals, in line with the aforementioned topics.
The training for the preparation, writing and management of Horizon Europe projects was held during the second half of November 2022, in the premises of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade.
