(1905–1989)
Director of the Institute of Social Sciences from 1958 to 1960. He was also the Director of College of Political Sciences, the precursor to the Faculty of Political Sciences, as well as of the Institute of International Politics and Economy, and the editor of the Borba (Struggle) daily. He belonged to the Partisan Movement and participated in the Spanish Civil War and French Resistance Movement.
