Chairman of the Management Board of the Institute of Social Sciences from 1983 to 1989. He was also the Head of the Centre for Public Opinion Research from 1976 to 1983 and Chairmen of the Scientific Council from 1990 to 2003. He taught upon invitation at the universities in Ljubljana, Bordeaux, Podgorica and Belgrade. He was a member of the Anti-Corruption Council, and has been the Head of the non-governmental organisation “Transparentnost Srbija”.
