(1924–1982)
Chairman of the Management Board of the Institute of Social Sciences from 1980 to 1982. He graduated in 1951 from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade, in the first class of philosophy majors, and he received his PhD from the Faculty of Law in 1976, with the doctoral thesis titled Cvijić’s Sociology of the Balkans.
He acquired additional expertise at the University of Manchester and London School of Economics and Political Sciences. He worked in the Centre for Sociology of the Institute of Social Sciences between 1958 and 1982.
