Rory Fitzgerald is a professor at the University of London and director of one of the largest pan-European infrastructures for social research. He directs the European Social Survey (ESS) within the European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ESS ERIC), a world’s leading cross-national survey research infrastructure. He coordinated the Synergies for Europe’s Research Infrastructure in the Social Sciences (SERISS) project.
He teaches at the University of London, where he also occupies the position of the Deputy Director & Acting Director of the Centre for Comparative Social Surveys. Also, he was the Research Director at the National Centre for Social Research, UK.
