Biography
The year of receiving the highest degree of professional qualification PhD 2019, University of Belgrade
Nena A. Vasojević She enrolled the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences, University of Kragujevac in 2007/08 and graduated in 2011. She enrolled the Master Studies in 2011 and graduated in January 2012. She enrolled in doctoral studies in 2012 at the History and Philosophy of Natural Science and Technology, Multidisciplinary PhD Studies, University of Belgrade.
As a holder of a scholarship of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development in 2014, she was a project associate at the Mihajlo Pupin Institute, Center for Research and Development of Science and Technology. From 2015 to 2017, she was engaged as a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development on a project at the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade. Since 2017, she has been employed as a research associate at the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade. She defended her multidisciplinary doctoral dissertation “Application of Human Resources: The Impact of Scholars Studying Abroad on the Development of Serbia” in 2019 at the University of Belgrade.
In 2020, she was elected a research associate at the Institute of Social Sciences, in the field of social sciences-Sociology. She has published a number of papers in journals and anthologies of international importance, as well as leading journals of national importance and participated in several international scientific conferences.
Nena Vasojević is engaged in the scientific research project „International student migration in the Sebian context and (re)construction of identity: main issues and input for policy making“, which is supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia. Also, she is engaged in the Center for Sociological and Anthropological Research on the research program – Individual and social relevance of religion in contemporary Serbia (2023–2024) as project manager – Education and religion.
