Biography
The year of receiving the highest degree of professional qualification: master’s degree, 2020.
Milica Janković graduated from the Classics department of the Faculty of Philosophy (University of Belgrade) in 2019 with the average grade 8.96. The following year, she also obtained her master’s degree from the same university with an average grade of 9.43, having presented her thesis titled “The Terminology of Intolerance: Jerome the Translator on his Critics”.
From 2020 to 2024, she worked as a Classics teacher at the High School of Sremski Karlovci, during which time (in October, 2023) she enrolled in a PhD course at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade with the intention of broadening her former field of research, which was mostly related to translations of the Bible, and beginning to investigate the topic from a sociological and anthropological point of view as well as a philological one.
She has been working as a Junior Research Assistant at the Centre for Sociological and Anthropological Research of the Institute of Social Sciences since March, 2024.
