Biography
The year of receiving the highest degree of professional qualification 2003.
Mariјana Maksimovic received her doctorate in 2003 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. During 2019/2020, she completed postdoctoral international research studies in the field of economic diplomacy at the University for Peace, founded by the United Nations at the European Center for Peace and Development.
Dr. Maksimovic passed the state exam for work in the state administration of the Republic of Serbia иn 1998. The candidate worked at the Institute of Economic Sciences from 2003–2006 years. From October 2006 until today, the candidate has been employed at the Institute of Social Sciences, at the Center for Economic Research and holds the title of research associate.
She worked as a researcher on scientific projects of national importance. In addition, the candidate worked on the drafting of the documents of the Republic Institute for the Development of the Republic of Serbia “Strategy for the development of Serbia until 2010 with a vision until 2020” and “Economic policy for 1998”. She has published three scientific monographs.
Dr. Maksimovic has published many scientific works in the areas of: quality management, international human resource management, economic development and employment, education and human resource management, as well as entrepreneurship and sustainable development. The candidate actively participated in a large number of scientific and professional meetings in the domain of human resources, quality, employment problems in economics.
