Biography
The year of receiving the highest degree of professional qualification M.A. 2021.
She graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade – majoring in economic analysis and policy, and completed her master’s degree in quantitative analysis – module demography. During her undergraduate studies, she was a member of the editorial board of the student magazine of the Faculty of Economics – Monopolist.
Ivana Poljak worked as an economic analyst for the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit (SIPRU) of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Before that, since 2016, she worked as a researcher at the Center for Social Policy. Her areas of research included social protection, labor market, education, poverty, and inequality.
In 2020, she completed her internship at the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO) in Serbia. From 2016 to 2019, she worked as a research associate at the Foundation for the Development of Economic Science (FREN).
