Biography

The year of receiving the highest degree of professional qualification: PhD, 2016.

Dejan Maslikovic graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade and then completed postgraduate studies at the University of Arts in cultural management and cultural mediation in the Balkans under the auspices of UNESCO. He received his doctorate in 2016 from the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies at the University of Belgrade in the fields of inclusion and information and communication technology.

During his career, Dejan Maslikovi was involved in the reform of the state administration system in the fields of culture, art, inclusion, and the use of information and communication technology (digital transformation). In the Ministry of Culture, on several occasions he performed the duties of head of cabinet, assistant minister, and representative of Serbia in the Council of Ministers of Culture of South-Eastern Europe. In SASA, he worked in the position of assistant manager of affairs. Now he is engaged as a consultant on the World Bank project on e-health. He is engaged in several bodies of the state administration in the implementation of inclusion as well as in international projects. He is the winner of the Golden Beoug award for his permanent contribution to the development of the culture of the City of Belgrade.

Also, he is engaged on the research program “Research on academic mobility of international students: Medicine and dentistry students at universities in the Republic of Serbia (2024-2025)” as the head of the research program.

He conceives his scientific work in such a way that it has full application in practice, reform, and strategic initiatives, especially in improving the position of people with disabilities. He publishes works in leading international journals in the field of the position of persons with disabilities and culture.
