(1915–2017)
Director of the Institute of Social Sciences from 1965 to 1967. He graduated and received his PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ljubljana. He was a full professor of the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade and the Faculty of Political Sciences, Sociology and Journalism in Ljubljana.
He was Vice Chairmen of the Yugoslav Association for Social Sciences and a member of the Council of the International Political Sciences Association (IPSA). He was a full member of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts since 1985. He was a member of the Partisan Movement, and he performed important political and diplomatic roles in the Slovenian and Yugoslav administration.
