André Pieter den Exter is a professor of health law at the Erasmus Law School in Rotterdam.
He taught at universities in Bologna, Lisbon, Lviv, Antwerp, as well as in other scientific institutions.
He is an arbiter at the Court of Arbitration in Health Care; he is a member of many bodies that deal with health and medical law. He is a member of editorial boards of the following journals and magazines: Medical Law (Ukraine), International Journal of Healthcare and Medical Law Review.
