Biography
Ms. Bijeljac received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade.
She enrolled in doctoral academic studies at the said faculty in November 2022, under the mentorship of prof. Mirjana Drenovak-Ivanovic. Her research is dedicated to the scientific field of Administrative Law with a special focus on Climate Change Law and Environmental Law.
She participated in the competition (moot court) “Condemn Discrimination” organized by the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality of the Republic of Serbia. With her team, she reached the last stage of the competition.
During her studies, she attended the School of Environmental Law, courses, and seminars on the topic of Environmental Law and Climate Change Law, as well as a Legal Clinic on Refugee Law and the right to asylum. She also successfully completed the Law Interpretation Techniques course organized by the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade.
She is the recipient of the Certificate of Commendation for excellent success in learning and acquiring knowledge during her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade. She was the recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.
With regards to foreign languages, she speaks English and Spanish.
