Jelena Đuric, a research associate at the Institute of Social Sciences, passed away on January 27, 2025.
She had been working at the Institute of Social Sciences since 2021, and previously worked at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory. She received her PhD in Philosophical Anthropology from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade.
Đurić also taught at the doctoral level at the University of Belgrade, within the Interdisciplinary Department of History and Philosophy of Natural Sciences and Technology.
She wrote about philosophical and socio-cultural anthropology, axiology in the context of global changes and identity transformations, the anthropology of identity and the ecology of consciousness.
