The project Competing in the Digital Arena: Insights for IT Companies aims to investigate the competitiveness of IT companies, which are essential for driving economic growth and fostering innovation. The focus of the project is on developing a comprehensive approach to identifying success factors in the IT sector, allowing companies to proactively adapt to challenges and changes in the dynamic digital environment.
he project was carried out through a series of workshops and a roundtable, funded by the Institute of Social Sciences’ Seed Research Grant, with support from the SAIGE (Serbia Accelerating Innovation and Growth Entrepreneurship) project and the World Bank.
At the beginning of the project, workshops were organized with IT experts to identify the key factors that contribute to the success of IT companies. These workshops provided an in-depth analysis of success factors in the IT sector, with contributions from industry practitioners.
On September 27, 2024, a concluding roundtable, Competing in the Digital Arena: Insights for IT Companies, was held at the Institute of Social Sciences, where research results were presented. The roundtable participants included representatives from the IT sector, public policy, as well as academic and research communities. Lectures and interactive sessions enabled participants to develop a comprehensive approach to identifying success factors, allowing IT companies to ensure long-term competitiveness and adaptability to the market.
