We invite members of the international academic community to submit an application with an abstract of the paper for the conference Social Aspects of Application of Artificial Intelligence and Transhumanism by May 15, 2025 at the latest.
In the past ten years, the application of artificial intelligence has become increasingly noticeable and is continuously gaining an increasing role. The goal of the conference is to explore, present, and explain the impact that this advanced technology has on society as a whole, especially on culture, art, music, ethics, intellectual property, and media.
Also, the concept of transhumanism is attracting increasing attention and comes as one of the planned steps in the implementation of artificial intelligence, i.e., the use of advanced technology to improve human life. Transhumanism envisages not only the use of technology to improve human life, but also to use this technology to improve human performance for creation, work and progress – the merging of humans and machines. This calls into question the integrity of the human being, freedom, social status, etc.
The international scientific conference is organized by the Center for Sociological and Anthropological Research of the Institute of Social Sciences, with the support of the Research and Development Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia and the sponsorship of The Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia.
The conference includes four sessions:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and culture
- AI in the media
- AI and transhumanization in the economy
- Challenges of transhumanism and the use of AI, and the transhumanization of society
