Within the SAIGE Project, a new call for the Seed Research Grant Program II – Seed2 has been announced, aimed at supporting research and development institutions and their teams in the preparation and implementation of short-term research projects.
Young researchers up to 35 years of age are eligible to participate, in accordance with the conditions defined in the call.
The call opened on 15 June 2026, and the deadline for submitting project proposals is 6 July 2026. The selection of submitted proposals will be completed by 20 July 2026.
The total budget per research and development institution is up to EUR 25,000, while the maximum amount of support per individual project is up to EUR 8,000. Of the total costs of each individual project, 50% of the funds must be provided by the research and development institution, while the remaining 50% will be financed through the SAIGE Program.
The duration of projects is up to four months, or up to six months in exceptional and duly justified cases.
The call and accompanying templates are available in the attachment. Research teams are invited to prepare and submit their proposals in accordance with the conditions of the call.
