Biography: 

Predrag Jovanovic works in the Institute of Social Sciences since 2001 as Principal Research Fellow. In the period 2001-2002 Predrag Jovanovic was deputy president of the Anticorruption Council, an advisory body of Government of Republic Serbia. From 2001 to 2202, he was founder and first president of “Transparency Serbia” a chapter of “Transparency International” largest global organization specialized for fight against corruption. 

Mr Jovanovic served as director of Public Procurement Office since 2002 to 2018.  For achievements in upgrading of public procurement he was awarded by recognition “Person of the Year” from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in 2009. For results in curbing corruption in public procurement Mr Jovanovic received recognition “Everyday Hero” from American Embassy in 2006.  

Since 2016 Mr Jovanovic is engaged as lecturer on Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, at master postgraduate studies: “Management of public sector” as associate professor. He is head of the Centre for Economic Research and president of Scientific Council in the Institute of Social Sciences.
