Director of the Institute of Social Sciences from 1989 to 2002. He was also the acting Head of the Centre for Public Opinion Research in 1973 and Head of the Centre for Political Science Research and Public Opinion from 1983 to 1988 and from 2005 to 2009. He worked in the ISS for forty one years.
He has been a member of the Russian Academy of Social Sciences since 1999, as well as a full member of the International Association for Applied Psychology (IAAP). He was a member of the International Political Sciences Association (IPSA) in 1991.
He taught social research methodology at the Social Work College in Belgrade and psychology of sport at the Sport Academy in Belgrade.
