Biography:

Lilijana Čičkarić is a Principal Research Fellow at the Institute of Social Sciences. She was the head of the Center for Sociological and Anthropological Research (2017-2022). She does interdisciplinary research on gender and politics and occasionally teaches courses in that field at the University of Belgrade and Novi Sad. She was the visiting scholar at the University of Oslo, Institute for Advanced Studies at University of Amsterdam, Queen's University Belfast, LSE and University of London. As a Fulbright scholar, she was a visiting researcher and lecturer at the universities of Massachusetts and Harvard. She is one of the experts at the Forum of the European Institute for Gender Equality. She is the president of the Section for Feminist Research and Masculinity Studies at the Serbian Sociological Association and the winner of the Anđelka Milić Prize for the best feminist study in 2016. She is currently engaged in the establishment and strategic positioning of the Research Network on Gender and Politics in South East Europe (GenPolSEE).
